Joint convenors: Craft Study Centre and the International Textile Research Centre University for the Creative Arts
The confirmed Keynote speaker is Glen Adamson, author of ‘Thinking Through Craft’, ‘The Invention of Craft’ and most recently co-author of ‘Art in the Making’ (2016).
This conference, aimed at practitioners, writers, research students and educators, reviews the purpose and the point of craft history. We are calling for abstracts for 20 minute illustrated presentations. If you would like to offer a paper, please email your abstract on no more than one page of A4, giving your name (and institution if applicable), the title of your presentaion, and contact details.
These should be sent to: firstname.lastname@example.org by midday on 30th November 2016. Applicants will be notified by 14th December 2016.
