University of Winchester Studentship opportunities
The University of Winchester is seeking talented, enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to become part of their expanding and vibrant postgraduate research community.
The university is offering a total of 4 fully funded PhD studentships, one in the area of Climate Change and three open studentships.
They welcome applications in all areas of research listed below, but please note this is a competitive process and only four places are available.
The application deadline is 4 May; the studentships will commence in October 2016.
The studentships, which cover annual fees and include an annual stipend of £14,057, are for up to three years and are open to Home and EU students. Annual renewal of the studentship is subject to satisfactory academic progress. Applicants will normally have a track record of high academic achievement, relevant to the discipline being applied to, demonstrated by a first class or upper second undergraduate Honours degree and/or a Master’s degree (or equivalent) and supported by two academic references. The ability to work independently, with the support of a supervisory team, and the enthusiasm to contribute to a vibrant and stimulating research environment are essential.
